Serbia and Spain have qualified for the big final of the men’s tournament of the European Water Polo Championships Barcelona 2018. After the semifinals, in which they defeated Croatia and Italy, the two squads will play the 92nd match of the tournament, scheduled for Saturday at 22:15pm.

The Serbs, who are one step closer from their fourth continental crown, is back in a big final after falling in the semi-finals of the World Aquatics Championships. The Olympic champions are the heavy favorites to lift the title at the Picornell, although Spain will stand in their way with one secret weapon: the crowd.

David Martín’s squad has exceeded expectations at Barcelona 2018. They are still undefeated in five matches – like Serbia – and have won the right to play their second final, after Athens 27 years ago, after beating Italy in a heart-stopping end.

The bronze medal game will be contested by world champion Croatia and Italy on Saturday.
