Jennifer Parjea and Dani Ballart will conduct the Barcelona 2018 draw ceremony

Former international stars Jennifer Pareja and Dani Ballart will conduct, along with journalist Joan Carles García, the draw ceremony for the 33rd LEN European Water Polo Championships Barcelona 2018. The two Spanish legends will also work as commentators during the tournament in July. The darw ceremony will take place at the RTVE studios in Sant Cugat del vallès (Barcelona) on March 7, once the final list of participating teams is unveiled.

Pareja, Olympic silver medalist in London 2012 and World Champion in Barcelona 2013, retired almost two years ago and is now a speaker, Universo Mujer ambassador, collaborator in numerous projects and institutions, including LaLiga and Iberdrola, as well as a beach handball player. Ballart, Olympic champion in Atlanta 96, is currently serving as manager for the men’s CN Sant Andreu team.

The draw will be the perfect gathering for the Spanish water polo family. Attendees will include the Organizing Committee for Barcelona 2018 as well as notable figures from both national teams, like managers Miki Oca and david Martín.

At the start of the event, LEN will present goalkeeper Laura Ester with the Best Female Player of 2017 Award.
